Michael B. Jordan Directs and Stars in Thomas Crown Affair Trailer for Amazon MGM
Michael B. Jordan makes his feature directorial debut with The Thomas Crown Affair, as Amazon MGM released a trailer ahead of the film’s March 5, 2027 release date. Jordan also stars as Thomas Crown opposite Adria Arjona as an FBI agent and Kenneth Branagh as the chief villain, with music composed by Jon Batiste. Jordan told Variety he opted for a reimagination rather than a reboot, noting the earlier films were “about rich white guys stealing for fun” and that framing “doesn’t land today.” In his version, Crown pursues heists to return stolen artifacts to their rightful owners.
