Broncos Pass Rusher Jonathon Cooper Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges
Denver Broncos pass rusher Jonathon Cooper was arrested Thursday night in Parker, Colorado, on two counts of domestic violence and one count of criminal mischief, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jail records confirmed Friday. The Parker Police Department took Cooper into custody at 11:16 p.m. local time and booked him into the Douglas County jail at 2:38 a.m. According to a police affidavit, Cooper and his girlfriend were both arrested following an argument that began over cheating allegations and escalated into a physical confrontation in which both cellphones were damaged. Cooper bit his girlfriend’s phone during the incident, the affidavit stated.
