Ford Grants Blomqvist, Yelloly and Campbell Clearance to Join 2027 Hypercar Test Program
Matt Campbell, Tom Blomqvist and Nick Yelloly have been cleared by their current manufacturers to join Ford Racing’s Hypercar test program. Global director Mark Rushbrook confirmed at Le Mans that Porsche approved Campbell’s involvement, while Acura gave clearance for Blomqvist and Yelloly, both in the final year of the Meyer Shank ARX-06 programme. Ford’s prototype rolls out on August 5 at Le Castellet. Campbell has two Porsche commitments remaining — the Spa 24 Hours and Petit Le Mans — before turning full attention to Ford. Blomqvist said the deal came together “extremely quickly, in the last couple of weeks.”
