Dixon Poised to Leave Ganassi for Arrow McLaren After 23 Seasons
Six-time NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon is reportedly on the brink of leaving Chip Ganassi Racing — his team for 23 years — to join Arrow McLaren. A straight swap with fourth-place Christian Lundgaard, who would move from McLaren to Ganassi, is understood to be the shape of the deal. Indianapolis 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist, confirmed as departing Meyer Shank Racing, is also reported bound for McLaren — potentially forming a powerhouse line-up alongside Pato O'Ward — while Nolan Siegel would lose his McLaren seat. Marcus Ericsson remains off-contract at Andretti Global, and Caio Collet is among those in contention for the MSR vacancy.
Strong Road America Result Keeps Kyffin Simpson's Goals in Reach
Kyffin Simpson turned in a season-best fourth-place finish at Road America on June 21, boosting the Chip Ganassi Racing driver's confidence as he pursues goals of a first NTT IndyCar Series win and a top-10 championship finish. Simpson sits 16th in the standings with 179 points — 32 behind 10th-placed Scott Dixon — after collecting four top-10 results in 10 starts so far this season. “Best result of the year by quite a bit,” Simpson told IndyCar.com, pointing to both a maiden win and a top-10 points finish as concrete targets for the second half of the 2026 NTT IndyCar Series season.
