Canadiens Land Pastujov From Anaheim, Farrell Heads to Ducks

The Montreal Canadiens acquired forward Sasha Pastujov from the Anaheim Ducks on Monday in exchange for forward Sean Farrell, general manager Kent Hughes announced July 27, 2026. Pastujov, 23, posted an impressive 2025-26 AHL season with the San Diego Gulls, recording 57 points (21 goals, 36 assists) in 71 games — leading the team in assists and ranking second in goals. The Bradenton, Florida native was selected by Anaheim in the third round (66th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft and represented the United States at the 2022 World Junior Championship, posting four points in five games.
