Toluca Stuns LAFC 4-0, Reaches All-Liga MX Champions Cup Final
Deportivo Toluca FC erased a first-leg deficit Wednesday with a 4-0 thrashing of Los Angeles FC at Estadio Nemesio Diez, advancing to the May 30 CONCACAF Champions Cup final on a 4-2 aggregate. LAFC had appeared in control after Nkosi Tafari’s stoppage-time header at BMO Stadium secured a 2-1 first-leg advantage on April 30. Toluca overturned the deficit completely in Toluca de Lerdo, with goals arriving in a dominant second-leg performance that left the MLS club without an answer. The Mexican club will face Tigres UANL, who eliminated Nashville SC 2-0 on aggregate in the other semifinal, in an all-Liga MX final.
Utah Royals Rise to Second Place with 2-0 Win Over Houston Dash

Clöe Lacasse converted Tanaka’s first-half delivery in the 38th minute, and Courtney Brown added a second after the break. The Royals dominated possession at 74% in the first half, out-shooting Houston 10-0. Goalkeeper Mandy McGlynn registered two saves in a shutout that extended Utah’s clean-sheet run to 378 consecutive minutes. Major League Soccer unveiled its new global headquarters at 2 Penn Plaza in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, marking the league’s most substantial operational investment in years. The facility houses more than 80 collaboration spaces and the new Match Day Center Operations Hub, a centralized command center monitoring every MLS match in real time. Ballou Tabla Hat-Trick Sends Atlético Ottawa Past Toronto FC in Canadian Championship
Atlético Ottawa delivered a landmark Canadian Championship result Tuesday, overcoming an early deficit to defeat MLS side Toronto FC 3-1 at BMO Field on the strength of a second-half hat-trick from forward Ballou Tabla. TFC’s DeAndre Kerr opened the scoring in the 16th minute from a Derrick Etienne Jr. pass. Tabla equalized in the 71st minute, notched the go-ahead goal in the 81st, then completed the hat-trick from the penalty spot in extra time.
