Packers RB Josh Jacobs Released From Custody as DA Weighs Domestic Violence Charges
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was released from Brown County jail Wednesday after being arrested Tuesday on five charges stemming from an alleged domestic disturbance that occurred Saturday. The charges include felony strangulation and suffocation, along with four misdemeanor counts of battery, domestic abuse, criminal damage to property, and intimidation of a victim. The Brown County district attorney’s office declined to formally charge Jacobs on Wednesday, citing additional evidence that has not yet been made public. Jacobs’ attorneys stated he vehemently denies the allegations. The Packers said they are aware of the situation and plan to let the process play out.

49ers DE Nick Bosa Says He Is “Pretty Far Along” in ACL Recovery, Targeting Full Season
San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa said Thursday he is “pretty far along” in his recovery from a torn right ACL suffered during the 2025 season and is targeting participation in all 17 regular season games in 2026. Bosa told reporters at the team’s OTA session he considered retiring after the injury — the third ACL tear of his career — but his love of the game kept him motivated. “You love this game and you want to get back to it,” Bosa said.
