The layoffs impact roughly 100 employees from the Vision Pro division and another 100 from Siri and the AI integration group. Apple confirmed the reductions to Bloomberg, stating the company is reshuffling to focus on newer AI efforts and new devices. The company added that while existing roles are affected, it will create new positions as part of the change.
