This is JD and here are today’s updates. Well, what a weekend it was in Japan! Kimi Antonelli, the young Mercedes driver, absolutely dominated at Suzuka, securing his first win of the season and, in a truly historic moment, becoming the youngest-ever championship leader in Formula 1 history. He’s just 19 years and 216 days old, which is quite an achievement, isn’t it? It wasn’t a straightforward win though, as he actually dropped to sixth off the line, with Oscar Piastri seizing the lead into Turn 1.
