Apple Cuts 200 Jobs from Siri and Vision Pro Teams

Apple cut more than 200 jobs from its Siri and Vision Pro teams on August 21 in a restructuring focused on AI and new device development. About 100 roles were eliminated from Vision Pro gaming and immersive video teams, while the remaining 100 came from the Siri division and a group called Intelligent Systems Experience. The company confirmed the cuts to Bloomberg, saying it was evolving its business to deliver better experiences and would create new roles focused on AI and next-generation devices. The Siri cuts specifically target teams working on the legacy assistant as Apple shifts to a new AI-driven voice model.
