Hunter Greene Returns to IL with Right Elbow Soreness
Cincinnati Reds right-hander Hunter Greene was placed on the 15-day injured list with right elbow soreness, dealing another blow to his comeback attempt after missing the first three-plus months of the season following spring surgery to remove bone chips from the same elbow. Greene made his 2026 debut on July 4 and went 2-2 with a 6.83 ERA in five starts before the soreness returned during a side session.
