Rays Place Tyler Wells on IL with Forearm Tightness; Yankees Activate Aaron Judge

Monday’s transaction wire featured two significant moves. The Tampa Bay Rays placed righty Tyler Wells on the 15-day injured list with right forearm tightness (retroactive to Sept. 13), a potential postseason concern as Tampa Bay protects its AL East lead.
