Giants Release Odell Beckham Jr. After Three Games Without a Catch
The New York Giants released wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday after three games, ESPN reported. Beckham, 33, played 19 snaps in that span and had no catches. In Week 3 against Tennessee he played six snaps and drew one target from quarterback Jameis Winston, a pass that was nearly intercepted. The Giants drafted Beckham 12th in 2014, and he has 575 career catches for 7,987 yards and 59 touchdowns. He last played in 2024 with Miami, catching nine passes for 54 yards. New York officially signed Braxton Berrios to the 53-man roster, and Beckham is not expected to join the practice squad at this time.
Giants Place Brian Burns on Injured Reserve With Torn ACL, Promote Charlie Jones
The New York Giants placed Brian Burns on injured reserve Tuesday after he tore his ACL in Sunday’s game against Tennessee, ending his 2026 season. He joins quarterback Jaxson Dart on the sideline for the rest of the year. Abdul Carter and Kayvon Thibodeaux are expected to take over primary responsibilities at the edge rusher position without him. To fill the two open roster spots, New York promoted wide receiver Charlie Jones from the practice squad and signed Braxton Berrios. Jones spent the previous three seasons with Cincinnati, appearing in 33 games and scoring three special teams touchdowns, one on a punt return and two on kickoff returns.

Steelers’ Jalen Ramsey Says He Has a Broken Wrist, Thursday Status Uncertain
Steelers defender Jalen Ramsey said he broke his right wrist early in the Week 3 game against Cincinnati but played every defensive snap and recorded eight tackles. His status for Thursday’s game against Cleveland is uncertain. Ramsey said he would try to play but must be able to protect the wrist. He wore a sling Monday and what appeared to be a cast or brace Tuesday, when he was estimated as a limited participant in practice. Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was estimated as a full participant, while slot cornerback Brandin Echols entered concussion protocol. The team could elevate defensive back Doneiko Slaughter or give rookie Daylen Everette more snaps.
Commanders’ Jayden Daniels Limited in Practice as Team Travels to London
Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels will be a limited participant in practice Wednesday, coach Dan Quinn said, as Washington prepares to face the Indianapolis Colts in London. Daniels dislocated his left elbow in Week 2 and missed the Week 3 victory over Seattle. Quinn said the session would be more of a jog format, and that a full practice would have been limited for Daniels. Marcus Mariota started in Week 3, and the team will announce its starter closer to Sunday’s game. Running back Rachaad White, who has a shoulder injury, did not participate, and guard Sam Cosmi and safety Nick Scott did not travel to London and will be unavailable.

Starting right guard Mike Onwenu is already out with a broken ankle. ESPN’s Graziano Expects More Quarterback Trades Following J.J. McCarthy Deal
ESPN’s Dan Graziano judged it true that J.J. McCarthy will not be the only quarterback traded this season, naming potential candidates in a Week 4 column with Jeremy Fowler. His list included Jacoby Brissett or Gardner Minshew II of the Cardinals, Tyson Bagent of the Bears, Tanner McKee or Andy Dalton of the Eagles, and Joe Flacco of the Bengals. Fowler set the over-under on quarterback trades at 2.5. He noted that the Eagles, Browns and Steelers each carry four quarterbacks, and mentioned Justin Fields and Spencer Rattler as potential trade assets. Graziano wrote that a lot of these quarterback situations are going to change drastically by midseason.
Raiders’ 3-0 Start Draws Cautious Belief From NFL Evaluators, ESPN Reports
Evaluators around the NFL are buying the Las Vegas Raiders’ 3-0 start “to a point,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler wrote in a Week 4 column with Dan Graziano. One AFC executive told ESPN: “I have no reason to believe it is a fluke right now.” Kirk Cousins is tied for the league lead with nine touchdown passes, and Brock Bowers looked unguardable against New Orleans, according to the column. Graziano said coach Klint Kubiak is doing an outstanding job. The Raiders have 93 carries and 92 pass attempts this season. Their next tests are Kansas City in Week 4, Buffalo in Week 6 and the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
